We take our name from flat bread which is an important part of a healthy meal in Bangladesh, India & Pakistan. It is made of whole wheat flour (atta) and unleavened dough. It is unsalted and contains no oil or yeast. Inexpensive and very nutritious it is an ideal accompaniment to your meal with us.
Roti is a family run business, started in Brick Lane, London in 1989. As we do in our Brick Lane restaurant we offer our customer here in Norwich the most authentic traditional Bangladeshi and Indian cuisine. Our staffs in the kitchen and in the restaurant are dedicated to providing you with the best possible dinning experience.
All our dishes are prepared and cooked when you place your order, so they are amazingly fresh and full of flavour. We use only the absolute best ingredients, sourced on a daily basis, to ensure that you enjoy the finest flavour. Our rare spices, exotic vegetable and seafood are all imported exclusively for roti.
We never take any shorts cut in the preparation our food. We do not use any artificial colouring, thus allowing the natural colours and flavours of the ingredients to be fully appreciated. Our menu combines earthy traditional Bangladeshi flavours with cutting edge style.
We have carefully researched Bangladeshi & Indian culinary and have revived delicious dishes worthy of a Nawab’s table, and food fine enough to please the moguls.
